War Trains Vol. 3 - Air Attacks (1998)
Trains have played a significant role in wars, serving as conveyances for moving troops, munitions, and supplies; rolling hospitals to care for and carry the wounded from battle; artillery stations; and strategic bases. This three-volume set chronicles their service to America, starting with the Civil War, and including World Wars I and II, Korea, and Vietnam. This final volume in the three-part series examines the support role of war trains during air attacks.
