Un documentar rar şi uluitor. O biografie care abundă în imagini de arhivă (o mare parte figurând şi în documentarul autobiografic al lui Nureyev), cu imagine şi sunet ce ne aminteşte de filmele vechi, multe din ele fiind chiar alb-negru, o elocventă mărturie despre două mari talente care s-au întâlnit pe scenă, dar şi în viaţă: Margot Fonteyn şi Rudolf Nureyev.
Toate mărturiile contemporanilor impresionează şi sunt marcate de modestia şi simplitatea acestor fiinţe, viaţa lor axată pe muncă, disciplină şi autodepăşire, într-un puternic contrast cu marile lor realizări artistice, care paradoxal, nu i-au făcut niciodată să-şi piardă capul.
Din păcate nu are subtitrare, dar cum predomină multe scene de balet, iar engleza este excelentă, sper ca acest hop să fie trecut cu bine.

Rudolf Nureyev - half her age, a young defector fleeing from Soviet Russia, relatively unknown, born of poor parents in the appalling hardships of wartime Russia.
