Pentru prima dată, vi se spune povestea completă a omului care a schimbat Europa, începând din 1793, când era un tânăr căpitan de artilerie, şi până astăzi. Documentarul a fost filmat în peste 70 de locaţii, cu participarea celor mai importanţi experţi în domeniu din lume. Timp de peste 20 de ani, din 1793 şi până în 1815, întreaga Europă a fost centrul de operaţiuni al unui tânăr căpitan de artilerie care avea să devină împărat. Povestea sa se îmbină cu istoria Europei secolului XIX. De la armate şi diplomaţi la importanţi demnitari ai statelor, de la familia imperială la anturajul său, de la oponenţii săi la ultimii şi cei mai loiali prieteni care l-au însoţit pe Sf Elena, iată istoria completă a lui Napoleon, fără concesii.
